Patient Support Program
Specialty medications can cost hundreds or thousands of dollars a month. Even with health insurance, the plethora of forms and justification can be daunting and exhausting for ordinary patients. On the other hand, public programs have their own rules. While many drug manufacturers run assistance programs, most people never hear about them. Our dedicated Patient Support Program team works through all of it with your patients before their first fill.
What your patients get is a team that stands by them, navigates insurance processes, public assistance programs and manufacturer assistance programs to help lower their prescription cost.
Insurance navigation

At Breeze Specialty Pharmacy, we handle the paperwork that follows a prescription: a special authorization form, a denied claim, a patient who can’t afford the co-pay. Is Breeze a real pharmacy?
Yes. Breeze is accredited by the Ontario College of Pharmacists (accreditation #[TBC]). You can confirm it, and our Designated Manager, on the College’s public register.
Can I walk in?
Breeze doesn’t have a retail storefront. We serve patients by delivery, and you can speak with a pharmacist by phone or video during pharmacist hours.
Do I need a prescription?
Yes. We only dispense prescription medications with a valid prescription from a prescriber licensed in Canada.
Does the Patient Support Program cost anything?
No. It’s included when Breeze fills your prescription.
What if my insurance says no?
We’ll look at why, help your prescriber with an appeal or a special authorization request, and check public programs and manufacturer assistance. We’ll tell you plainly what’s possible.
Where do you deliver?
Anywhere in Ontario, free of charge.
How do I move my prescription to Breeze?
Click Transfer a prescription and tell us where it’s filled now. We call your current pharmacy and handle the rest.
Do I have to use Breeze?
No. You can fill your prescription at any pharmacy you like. If you’d rather go elsewhere, we’ll transfer it.
Is my health information private?
Yes. We handle your information under Ontario’s health privacy law (PHIPA) and share it only with your prescriber, your insurer or an assistance program when you’ve agreed to it.
